the size of sodas you can get in new york city. now his other pet issue is, he's donated a lot of money to this, stopping smoking. according to a new york police report, he wants to ban new yorkers from smoking in their own homes. their private residences. this is according to the post here. the community groups are going to be sent out to convince landlords across the city to turn their private buildings into smoke-free zones. this is according to documents obtained by "the new york post." these groups would work with tenants and property managers on smoke-free policies and get a $10,000 bounty. they say we're not going to private residences, they say, but anti-smoking is a big bloomberg crusade. i don't think it's going to get far. >> is he going to go into my fridge and make sure i don't have two liters of soda? >>> we've seen the amazing advances in technology when it comes to our phones. in just six years, ibm is predicting there could be a phone that could smell, hear, taste, touch, all the senses, all five of them. for example, you could experience the silkiness of egyptian cotto

time. i worked in new york city for about 28 years as a bilingual teacher and a certified credit counselor. if i could just give my personal testimony, i think you may be relevant to the issue here. i studied at hunter city college in new york for a master's degree in counseling. a masters degree, at that time, acquired only 30 credits -- graduate credits. i was in the last class that certified the 30 credits and afterwards it became 38 and now i believe it is 60. my training, i thought, was quite good. we had very experienced and talented professors. the objective was to put on the front lines some trained people to basically just be listening. to have the children referred to us and we have enough training to we could try to help them, or if we felt that the problem was severe enough, we could refer them. we had psychiatrists in new york available. school support teams. and i am now working in florida as is an adjunct professor at the college level. and my feeling is come, and i don't want to be too judgmental, but i think at the community college level and maybe colleges in ge

volumes this morning as the nation and the city of newtown remembered what happened one week ago today. rain drops, only rain drops were heard during this moment of silence. firefighters there in newtown, paying tribute to the 20 children, the 6, the 7-year-olds and the seven adults gunned down, for reasons we may never know. the reflections began at 9:30 this morning eastern time. the time that first call came in to 911. at least 29 states held a moment of silence, put their flags at half-staff. parts of the internet went silent. video gamers put down their consoles in unity and bells across connecticut sounded for each killed at sandy hook elementary school.
